Exoshock developers PolarityOne announced that an open beta for their sci-fi VR shooter will launch next week.
Exoshock will launch an open beta beginning on September 17. The beta will serve as the final free playtest ahead of the game’s planned Early Access release later this fall.
The open beta will support both single-player and multiplayer co-op runs for up to four players, and you’ll be able to play the game through SteamVR and on Quest 3 and 3S headsets. Flat screen gamers can also play, and cross-play will be available between VR and standard PC players.

Ahead of the open beta, you can download the free “Playtest App,” which includes access to the shooting range, weapons, loadout options, a tutorial, and character customization so that you’re ready to go the minute the beta launches on September 17.
We went hands-on with Exoshock when it launched its “Founder’s Edition,” and discovered a game that’s “shaping up to be one of the most exciting shooters VR has seen in a long time.”
You can find everything Exoshock on its SteamVR and Quest store pages.
