The Long Survival, a co-op survival horde shooter claiming to have the biggest hordes in VR, arrives on PlayStation VR2 on August 27.
Developer Friendly Fire Studios announced the date after an erroneous notification informed players who wishlisted the game that it was available now. Friendly Fire posted a message on August 17 saying the notification about the game being out now for PS VR2 was a system glitch. This issue was resolved, but unfortunately the erroneous release also wiped out all PS VR2 wishlists.

The Long Survival has had a rocky road porting from Meta Quest to other platforms. The PC VR and PS VR2 ports were delayed two separate times earlier this year owing to issues with cross-platform support before it launched in Early Access for SteamVR on May 21. This release came with a name change from A Long Survive to The Long Survival after community feedback.

The Long Survival can be wishlisted now on PS VR2.
