BattleGroupVR2, a space-based real time strategy game, comes to Meta Quest in Early Access on August 28.

BattleGroupVR2 launched in Early Access on Steam in November 2025. It currently has a ‘Very Positive’ rating from 198 reviews. The Early Access information box estimates a twelve to eighteen month stint before full release, so we are still within that time window. It has been steadily updated since launch, most recently with a small patch on August 12. A batch of new main story missions were added in June.
The first BattleGroupVR came to Meta Quest in 2022 where it currently has a 4.6 score from 114 ratings. It seems to have fared better on Steam, where it launched in summer 2023 and is rated ‘Very Positive’ from 857 reviews.
BattleGroupVR2 can be wishlisted now on Quest ahead of the August 28 Early Access launch.
