Fast Travel Games is holding playtests next week for its highly anticipated co-op heist shooter Payday: Aces High on SteamVR and Quest 3.
The announcement came at today’s VR Games Showcase with a new gameplay trailer. Playtests start on August 20.

In Aces High, you and up to three friends take on the roles of The Aces, a group of highly skilled thieves framed by business titan Warren Jupiter. The Aces decide to seek revenge by looting locations tied to his business: banks, museums, and even his personal penthouse. Heists are always attempted in groups of four, with AI companions filling in any gaps on the team.
The game is slated to release later in 2026 and developer Fast Travel Games (Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice, Apex Construct) has already committed to a new post-release heist location as a free update before the end of the year.
Payday: Aces High can be wishlisted for Steam and Quest 3 headsets.
