You can go hands-on with Vaelorys, an upcoming spell-based combat game on Quest, for free in a playtest running through September 22.
In our ongoing effort to pass along any playtests we are notified of, Spellbound Studio, the team behind Vaelorys, kicked off an open playtest on September 7 that runs for two weeks, ending on September 22.
Vaelorys is an upcoming Diablo-inspired dark fantasy hack-and-slash role-playing game featuring physical, gesture-based spellcasting you use to wipe out waves of enemies standing between you and your loot.

You fight your way through replayable dungeon and wilderness environments to acquire artifacts, money, and new gear, the latter of which can be used to enhance your abilities and take on great challenges. There are thirty spells to unlock and upgrade and a full skill tree progression system.
The game is slated for an Early Access release on Meta Quest this winter, with community feedback helping to shape the game as it moves towards a full release. You can sign up via Meta Quest’s channel access invitation system here.
